Methodology

Official daily Treasury par yield curve rates at eleven standard maturities. The current curve uses 2026-08-20, the latest observation in the Treasury feed. The comparison uses 2025-08-20, the observation on or immediately before the same calendar date one year earlier. These are par yields derived by Treasury from indicative market quotations, not individual security prices, investment returns, or a recession forecast.
