This chart compares software-development job-posting trends across several countries. It uses Indeed Hiring Lab’s country-sector data and a common February 2020 baseline; differences in Indeed’s national coverage and labor-market structure limit precise cross-country ranking.
What does it show?
Software job postings remain below their 2020 baseline in most selected countries, with Australia the notable exception.
Methodology
Indeed Hiring Lab country-level sector trackers for Software Development, using each file's published total-postings index. Indeed independently indexes every country to February 1, 2020 = 100, so the lines compare subsequent change, not the number of vacancies or market size. Only dates present in all six country files are retained, then daily observations are sampled weekly for display. Cross-country differences can still reflect Indeed coverage and local job-board use.
