Methodology
Monthly seasonally adjusted value of shipments and new orders for ventilation, heating, air-conditioning and commercial refrigeration equipment (NAICS 3334), converted from millions to billions of dollars. This broad category includes non-data-center demand and is a proxy, not a measure of data-center cooling revenue.
