Methodology
Index three unlike behaviors to 2019 = 100 without adding them: the share of searchable SEC 10-Ks containing the exact phrase 'artificial intelligence'; OpenAlex articles whose primary topic is in AI subfield 1702; and Stack Overflow questions carrying the 'machine-learning' tag. The series represent public-company language, indexed research output, and activity on one developer forum. Tag practice, platform substitution, OpenAlex revisions, publication lags, and EDGAR search coverage can all move the lines.
